  1. Take maida add salt and water,knead a soft dough,like chapati dough.

  3. The butter must be at room temperature and prior to using keep the butter for five minutes in fridge so that at the time of using it,it’s neither too hard nor too soft.
  4. After the dough is given rest of thirty minutes take it out.
  5. Divide the butter in three equal part Make a square roti put one block of butter in centre of roti,now fold it from both side like we do for square paratha and keep it fridge for resting for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Now after 30 minutes takes this dough out roll it into square roti (as far as possible square) again put block of butter again fold it like we do for square paratha and again in fridge for resting for thirty minutes.
  7. Repeat same process again.
  8. Once all block of butter is used and process is repeated for three times,take out the dough again make a square roti and now cut it into rectangle shape pieces.
  9. Pre heat the oven at 200 degree and now bake the khari biscuit at 170 degree for 15 minutes or till it turn into golden brown colour.
  10. Once baked take them out,let it cool Tea time snack khari biscuit are ready.
