Sugar cookies instructions
- Sift flour, maizena, castor sugar and salt together in bowl.
- Rub margarine in flour mixture with thumbs until it looks like bread crumbs.
- Whisk eggs and vanilla in separate bowl until fluffy.
- Knead eggs and flour mixture together until it forms a ball..
- Wrap dough and rest in frigde for 30 minutes..
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray & Cook baking pans.
- Lighty dust surface with flour. Take quarter of dough and roll out between 3-5mm thick.
- Press desired shapes with cookie cutter and place it on baking pan.
- With left over dough after cutting, add some new dough and roll out again. Continue this process until dough is finished.
- Bake cookies for 15 minutes.
- Cool cookies on drying rack.
- Eat them as they are or decorate with royal icing.
These cookies tasted great but my dough was so crumbly that i couldn't even roll them out to cookie cut them,,,, i ended up taking bits and pieces and smashing them into the cutter to keep a good design,,,, but to be fair i have never found a non crumbly non chill sugar cookie recipe,,,, makes me hate making them even tho i love to eat them.
