- Add in your flour n mix well to make a soft smooth dough..
- Let it rest for 10 mins. There after, roll to 1 cm thickness n using a cookie cutter, cut to your favourite shape. I also used a toothpick to get those small n tiny designs on the cookies..
- Grease your baking tray and arrange your cookies ready to be baked. Let them rest again for 10 mins as you pre heat your oven to 170 degrees..
- Bake for 20- 25 mins or till they turn golden brown..
- Once ready, remove them from the oven, cool n serve with a beverage of your choice. Enjoy..
In large bowl of mixer, cream butter and sugar until fluffy; beat in egg, orange zest and juice. Gradually beat in flour, baking powder, soda, salt and nutmeg until mixed. Add oats (I used quick-cooking oats, but I think that old-fashioned or rolled oats would improve the texture.). Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.
