- First sieve the all-purpose flour add, baking powder, salt & some vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon..
- Mix the icing sugar & butter must be room temperature then whisk both to form a creamy texture then add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence..
- Then gradually add the flour in cream & mix only till it’s crumbled form dough then divide the dough into 2:1 ratio..
- Then add in the larger portion again divide into two portions add liquid red food colour 1 drop in the dough dash 1/2 teaspoon milk to bind it do the same with the green dough then roll both of them in a warp roll then freeze it for 20 minutes each..
- Once done take the left plane white dough divide into two balls then roll it with 1/2 inch thickness keeping in the red roll & green roll individually..
- Then start preparing cookies using desired shapes I make all kinds of designs then once I cut the cookies again set in a plate on butter paper & freeze for 25 minutes..
- Besides preheat the Kadai for 10 minutes then add the cookies plate cover it & let it cook for around 20 minutes or till slightly golden in corners. Make sure not to overcook it will be very hard..
- Once cooked let it cool to room temperature then set on a wire rack for about an hour to set well..
- The deliciously awesome vanilla cookies are ready store it in air tight container. Enjoy your snack time..
