1. cream margarine w sugar, add eggs & vanilla.
2. combine flour, soda, salt & gradually add to creamed mixture.
3. stir in pkg chipits choc chips or mix w diff types of chips, nuts if wanted.
4. drop by spoonfuls onto greased/ungreased (depends on pan used) cookie sheet.
5. bake @ 325/350 until cookies r golden in colour.
